In the realm of feels and fuzzy hugs,
Where empathy’s a dance that sometimes shrugs,
We ponder if kindness comes with a fee,
Like a tip for the waiter, or a hot cup of tea.
Do we lend a hand for a pat on the back,
Or is our heart’s warmth a simple snack?
While we’re geared to the self, like a cat with its yarn,
Can we smile for the sake of a world that’s worn?
Uplifted to light, we twirl and we spin,
But is altruism just a game we all win?
So next time you share a slice of your cake,
Remember, my friend, it’s the joy you can make!
For in giving, we gain, or so they all say,
But sometimes it feels like a cheeky ballet.
So dance with the awkward, the clumsy, the bold,
And laugh at the cosmos—what a sight to behold
