Life has its shadows they follow you around over your shoulder in the midday sun and into the night, slowly dimming, the shadows are black your blocking the light, as if a spirit co-joins you. Your shadow could be your only friend we don’t want to be lonely as we go into the night a candle glows and flickers in vulnerability. Our prayers are uttered softly asking of god will you look after us for another night, so next day we can feel what is life giving cast forth from an unknowingly benevolent sun.
